Note: Before using the blade for the fi rst time, please clean
the entire cutting surface thoroughly.
Insert the knife by tightening the blade locking device in an
anticlockwise direction until it clicks into place.
Check that the blade is fi xed fi rmly in place.
• Removing the stop plate: The stop plate can be com-
pletely removed for cleaning. Turn the adjustment wheel for
the cutting thickness as far as possible in an anticlockwise
direction. The stop plate can now be removed.
Replacing the stop plate: Leave the adjustment wheel for
the cutting thickness in the extreme anticlockwise position.
Position the stop plate on the thread and turn the adjustment
wheel clockwise.
Troubleshooting
Your device is fi tted with a safety switch combination. This
prevents the knife from starting accidentally.
If you cannot switch your device on:
• Please check the mains connection
• Is the speed switch turned to „0"?
A speed between 1 and 3 must be selected.
• Check the correct functioning of the safety switch combi-
nation:
First press in the unlocking button on the side of the machi-
ne and then the on/off switch on the top.
