Problem
The bread pops up almost
immediately without having been
toasted
The toast is too dark/ too light
Smoke comes out of the toaster The selected browning setting is too
Cause
Crumb tray is not positioned correctly
Bread lift is not in the right position
The browning setting selected is too
high or too low
high for the type of bread inserted
Solution
Check if the crumb tray is in the right position
Check if the bread lift is in the lower position
If none of the above contact Braun Customer
Service
Select a lower / higher browning setting
Press STOP button to stop the toasting cycle
Select a lower browning setting
