    1. PURPOSE All ErgoSlings in this range are Universal full slings that are intended for use in lifting or transferring people with reduced mobility. Transfer can be achieved in combination with stationary or mobile personal hoists.  These slings can be used at hospitals, in the context of home care, at institutions and in private homes.

    Check that the fabric of the sling and the straps are intact. There must not be any wear or damaged seams. Check that the sling is clean. If in any doubt about how to use the sling, Ergolet can be contacted for advice and guidance.

    4. LIFTING Note: The lifting situation must always be planned, and it must be ensured that the user feels secure when being lifted in the sling. Lifting from a sitting position: Applies to Basic, Comfort and Amputee slings: Place the sling behind the user's back with the coloured loop by the label indicating the centre line.
  • Page 7 Applies to Comfort and Amputee slings: Follow points 1-3 for "Lifting from a sitting position". For the amputation sling, adjust the Velcro straps around the leg stump. Cross the short coloured strap over the lifting strap on the opposite side. (A) Next cross the straps from the legs supports with the leg straps from the insides of the thigh (B).

    Attach the sling to the spreader bar Ergolet excludes any liability if the sling is not correctly attached to the hook on the spreader bar. It is always the responsibility of the helper to ensure that the correct sling is used and that it is suitable for the need/purpose.

    Ergolet. 7.2 Quality Ergolet is certified in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality standards. These certificates mean that the product and the company meet applicable international standards for quality management and standards for traceability for medical products.

    7.3 Symbols and abbreviations Machine-wash at the indicated temperature. Do not iron. Do not use bleach. Do not dry-clean. Tumble-dry at low temperature. See the user manual. The product can be disposed of with general waste. Safe working load = (user + accessories) The product is CE-marked.
