5. CONNECTING THE POWER AND HARD DRIVE CABLES TO THE DRIVE
5.1.
If you have the floor/table space, move to the back of your TiVo so that you
are looking at the back of the two hard drives.
5.2.
Connect the power cord to the new drive, being sure to align the power
connectors properly (rounded side down). Be sure that the power connector is securely
fastened.
5.3.
Connect the hard drive cable to the hard drive. Again, be sure the cable is
pushed snugly into the drive (it only fits one way). Be very careful not to bend any of the
hard drive pins.
5.4.
Now move back in front of your TiVo to re-attach the drive bay.
6. RE-ATTACHING THE DRIVE BAY
6.1.
Once you have the cables connected to the drive, carefully flip the drive bay
over.
