PROBLEM
Tips and Tongue Cleaner
Leakage between the tip and handle knob.

Tear in soft tip.

CAUSE
1) Tip not fully engaged.
1) Tip is worn.
1) Damage to the hose.
1) Missing reservoir valve.
2) Reservoir valve is upside down.
1) Reservoir not positioned properly.
2) Tip is clogged with debris.
1) Motor not running.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

CORRECTIVE ACTION
1) Remove tip and reinstall.
1) Replace with new tip.
1) V isit www.waterpik.com or contact Water Pik,
Inc. customer service for a self service repair kit.
1) R eplace reservoir valve. Contact Water Pik,
Inc. customer service for a replacement.
2) Turn valve right-side up.
1) R e-position reservoir. Press down firmly on the
reservoir.
2) Flush tip under faucet or replace tip.
1) B e sure outlet is functioning; test with
another appliance (check electrical reset
button and/or wall switch).
