INSTRUCTIONS

Starsys
Units
STATIONARY STARSYS UNITS ARE
TO BE AFFIXED TO THE WALL OR
FLOOR. Depending on the unit, one
or two wall brackets are provided on
the inside rear panels of the unit. An
optional floor mounting kit (less
mounting screws) can be ordered
under Part No. SX-FLR. No wall
mounting screws are supplied with
the Starsys unit due to the different
types of wall construction. You or
your installer must purchase the
appropriate fasteners suitable for the
wall conditions. Various holes in the
wall bracket can accommodate
screws or fasteners from #10 (
1
(5mm) to
/
(6mm) inch diameter.

Follow the fastener manufacturer's
instructions during assembly.
1. Move the unit into the desired location
against the wall.
2. Remove the lower drawers or shelves.
Refer to the user manual for details.
3. Level the unit. Leveling is achieved by
adjusting the screws located in each
corner of the base. This adjustment can

be made with a
/
" (6mm) flat tipped

screwdriver down through the base.
4. Insert the screwdriver down into a
hole (Fig. 1). By turning the screwdriver
clockwise, the unit can be raised. By
turning counterclockwise, the unit can
be lowered. Unit is shipped with the
leveling feet fully retracted. Unit can
be raised up to 2" (51mm) at each
corner.
5. Remove the upper drawers or shelves
to expose the rear wall bracket (Fig. 2).

6. Match drill holes through back panel
into wall using the wall bracket as a
template. Refer to the fastener
manufacturer's directions for the
appropriate drill size.
7. Install fasteners per the
manufacturer's guidelines.
8. Four (4) hole plugs are supplied with
each unit. Install a plug into each
leveling access hole.
9. Replace all removed components.
