    Symbols are used in this manual to highlight information that is critical to the safety of people and equipment, and for the safe and correct operation of the Compac equipment An extreme hazard that may result in death or injury if proper precautions are not taken.

    Once the pump/dispenser is received on site, check for any damage that may have occurred in transit, in particular damage to electronics due to vibration and jarring.     The Configuration Switch settings for the Futra software are the same as for standard pump software. Refer to the main C4000 Service Manual. These are set at Compac during manufacture and should not be changed. In the event of the Configuration code being lost and having to be re- entered, it is written on the yellow label on the C4000 Processor board cover.

    The pass code must be changed at the host computer as well as on site, to allow communications to take place. The Compac factory default pass code is 000000 . If the pass code is 000000, then only one 0 needs to be entered to gain access to PIN Pad, otherwise all six pass code numbers need to be entered ).
