Solder as follows:
a) Attach the
nozzle to the
provided heat
gun.
b) Set the heat
gun to HOT.
c) Hold the heat
gun steady
about 1 inch
away from the
solder sleeve.
DO NOT wave
the heat gun
back and forth.
d) Carefully heat the solder sleeve until the internal solder
melts around the twisted wires and the glue rings at the
ends of the solder sleeve melt around the insulation. This
takes about 20 seconds.
After the sensor wire is soldered, make sure that a fillet weld
(soldered connection) has formed around the twisted wires
and that the solder sleeve has sealed the soldered wires to
protect them from moisture. If not, reheat.
