Safety information

The ACE 2.0 may only be installed by a BMW
workshop.
The ACE 2.0 app must not be used by the driver
whilst the engine is running or whilst driving.
If you sell the device, ensure that you give the

of conformity sheet.
The ACE 2.0 must be reset to factory settings
using the ACE 2.0 app before it is passed on to
third parties.
Ensure that the micro SD card has been
formatted using the ACE 2.0 app before you
pass the device onto third parties.
The Wi-Fi settings can be reset to factory
settings using the button combination on the
front camera.
Press the Power key (1) on the rear and the
microphone ON/OFF key (2) on the side of
the front camera simultaneously for at least
3 seconds for this purpose.

Functions

General function

The ACE 2.0 consists of two full HD wide-angle
cameras, which can record accident incidents
whilst driving and property damage during
parking both in front or and behind your car.
It features proximity sensors at the front and
rear (radar sensors) and a vibration sensor (G
sensor) and can automatically record media data
in the form of photos and video sequences. It is
primarily controlled using the ACE 2.0 app.
A defined logic system in the operating modes
described below enables the ACE 2.0 to monitor
your car.
Acoustic instructions and voice output keep you
up to date with the status of your ACE 2.0.
Not every recorded event means that
there is necessarily an incident involving
the car.

Driving mode

Driving mode is started automatically as soon
as the car's ignition is switched on. The car can
now be monitored using two different recording
modes. Depending on the situation, using the
vibration sensor (G sensor), in other words, if
there is a vibration above the set threshold value
(sensitivity), the ACE 2.0 will record a 60-second
video sequence. A signal tone will sound from
the ACE 2.0 speaker and the safety LED on the
front camera will flash to indicate this recording.
Using an internal storage module, the recording
of this video sequence starts on the micro SD
card 10 seconds before the G sensor is triggered
so that the events prior to the vibration are also
recorded.
Permanent recording can also be activated. In
this mode, 60-second video sequences are
recorded continuously and saved in sequence.
