Step 1: Peel off the EPDM floor plate slowly and clean up possible residual glue thoroughly with an adequate solvent (petroleum benzene/white gas).
- Page 4 The slower you peel off the EPDM material the less glue will stick to the housing and ease up cleaning. Warming up the floor plate with a hot air gun may help, if you encounter problems during the process. Do not use temperatures above 60°C/140°F with the hot air gun, as this might weaken the powder coating.
