About This Document

This document describes how to troubleshoot HP AD278A/AD279A PCI Multiplexer (MUX)
serial adapters and peripherals. It also discusses technical specifications for the adapters and
peripheral connections.
Document updates may be issued between editions to correct errors or document product changes.

Intended Audience

This document is intended for system and network administrators responsible for installing and
managing PCI MUX serial adapters. You are expected to have knowledge of operating system
