BEFORE FIRST USE
Assemble the food carriage (Fig. 1, 6) with the pusher guide (Fig. 1, 5) as shown in Fig. 3.
Set the slicer in the place where you can easily operate it, near a power outlet, making sure that that you are able to press the lock
button (Fig. 1, 1) with the fingers of your left hand and hold the product to be sliced or the food pusher (Fig. 1, 4) with your right
hand. The counter should be dry. The slicer must not move during use. Place the food carriage (Fig. 1, 6) with the assembled pusher
guide (Fig. 1, 5) on the collapsible tray (Fig. 1, 7), aligned with the notches.
USING THE SLICER
Place the product to be sliced on the food carriage (Fig. 1, 6). Place the food pusher (Fig. 1, 4) onto the pusher guide (Fig. 1, 5). Set the
slicing thickness by turning the knob (Fig. 1, 8) with your left hand. To turn on the slicer, simultaneously press the ON switch and the
lock button (Fig. 1, 1). With your right hand, push and move the product together with the carriage (Fig. 1, 6) away from you towards
the blade until the end of the carriage; then go back and repeat.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
When done, unplug the slicer from the power outlet.
Using the knob, set the slicing thickness to 0 mm. This setting prevents accidental access to the blade.
After each use, clean the slicer and wipe it dry.
The body of the slicer houses the blade driver – never immerse the body in water or wash it under running water. The slicer body can be
cleaned with wet cloth with dishwashing detergent.
To remove the carriage (Fig. 1, 6) off the tray (Fig. 1, 7), slide the carriage towards you and take it off.
To remove the blade (Fig. 1, 3), turn the blade removal knob (Fig. 1, 2) approximately ¼ turn to the right, and remove the blade (Fig. 1,
3).
Use extreme caution when removing, cleaning and inserting the blade. The blade is very sharp.
Re-attach the clean blade (Fig. 1, 3) to the body by inserting it into the blade recess and secure it by turning the blade removal knob (Fig.
1, 2) approximately ¼ turn to the left until you feel resistance.
