  • Page 3 Feature Description - Doorbell Unit Mounting Instructions There are two ways that you can permanently mount the doorbell unit - 1. Mounting Plate & Screws - Find a place that you want to mount the doorbell unit to. Flat, smooth surfaces are ideal. It’s recommended to do a short test before doing a permanent installation.
  • Page 4 Operating Guide Mount the doorbell unit near a point of entrance. Avoid areas that may get wet as the doorbell unit is not waterproof. Avoid mounting onto metal surfaces or UPVC door frames. Plug the speaker unit into a spare power socket and turn the power on. The LED will flash and a chime will play.
  • Page 5 Troubleshooting The speaker unit is not playing a chime when the doorbell is pressed. • Make sure the speaker unit is plugged in and turned on • Make sure the speaker unit is within the specified range • Make sure the speaker unit is not in silent mode The speaker unit is working intermittently when the doorbell is pressed.
