    Installation Steps Hardware Installation The Smart Water Sensor is very simple to install. Just insert a CR2 battery into its compartment and place the device where you are likely to have water leaks, like under the sink or bath. But, before you place the device in its final place, be sure to connect the device to the Smart Home network first.
  • Page 6 Adding the Device to the Smart Home Network Use the Logika Smart Home app to add the device to the Smart Home system. Please refer to the Logika Smart Mobile App user guide which will take you through the process of adding smart devices to the system.

    Device Functions When the device is first powered on, it will normally automatically attempt to connect to the Zigbee Smart Home network. The System Indicator light will flash as it’s searching for the network. If it connects, the light will remain on for 2 seconds and then go out. If this does not happen, you can manually connect via the mobile app and follow the instructions below.

    Safety Precautions • Make sure the device is placed on a fixed flat surface. • Do not place the device on a metallic surface as this will affect its function. • Do not submerge in water. The device is designed to pick up water leaks by detecting shorts across the three terminal probes on the bottom.
