1. Introduction
Thank you for purchasing PLANET XGS3-PWR-AC 500-watt
100~240V AC Redundant Power Supply Unit for XGS3-
42000R
3. Installing and removing the
redundant power supply unit
Before installation, please be sure to read this user's
manual carefully to complete machine installation. This
manual shows how to quickly install and remove the XGS3-
PWR-AC from the XGS3-42000R.
The XGS3-42000R is equipped with one 100~240V AC
power supply unit that comes with the package. The
XGS3-42000R provides one spare power supply slot for a
redundant power supply unit. The XGS3-PWR-AC features a
switchable input option of 100V/240V AC.
The XGS3-42000R supports hot-swapping and
power redundancy backup. This secondary
AC power module can directly slide into the

To install the XGS3-PWR-AC into the XGS3-42000R, please
fasten the screw clockwise after sliding the XGS3-PWR-AC
into the XGS3-42000R.
Please slide in the XGS3-PWR-AC module first
before plugging in the rear power cord.
