  • Page 2 Lighting the fire in the fireplace/stove 1. Press the ON/OFF-button to turn on the EW41 display. The display will show OFF. 2. Start the chimney fan by pressing the ON/OFF-button again. The display will show BOOST. The chimney fan will run at maximum speed for 7 minutes (default setting) and thereafter continue at the operating speed it was run- ning at last time it was in operation.
  • Page 3 Turning off the fan - two options A. Manually: The fan is turned off by pressing the ON/OFF button once. NOTE: If the temperature sensor is activated the fan cannot be turned off manually as long as the temperature is above the stop temperature setting.
  • Page 4: Error Messages

    Error messages 1. If an error is registered, the display on the control panel will be lit and the type of alarm shown. The display will show ERROR and the error type will be listed below as seen here on the right. An alarm tone will beep 5 times if the alarm is 03 (high temp.) or 04 (power failure) and the display will stay lit.
