The recorder is recording these pages. It is complet-
ed if the full page is displayed. Of course it is pos-
sible to record all other pages desired, without
pressing the key 'page-repeat'. Press stop key of
recorder after recording.

Playback is only possible in OFF-UNE operation.

Rewind tape to start position.

and set recorder to playback. The
recorder symbol will be displayed in the status line
and also the recorded page.

If you desire to watch a certain page for a longer
period of time, then press the "PAUSE" key of the
cassette recorder.
Printer
A RGB-printer is connected via a scart-interface to
socket

For a printer with "Centronics-connection",
the decoder must be extended by the retrofit set
®.
For recording with a printer press key

The blinker
function will be switched off because it can not be
produced on the paper.
Storage of short data
With the keys
@
inputs of five short data (e. g. identifi-
cation figure of pages, code words etc.) are possible
during OFF-UNE operation. The data can be stored and
corrected.
In ON-UNE operation direct recall of this data is pos-
sible.
1. Storage
Press the first of the short data keys
@.
The screen dis-
plays F 1 and a coloured input line. The cursor is in the
line start position. Input of 16 symbols (figures and let-
ters, but no mutated vowels or blanc symbols) is
possible. Storage is carried out with key
@.
Repeat this
procedure with the rest of the four keys
@.

Correction of short da ta
Press the first of the short data keys
@.
The screen
then displays the stored data. The cursor is positioned
behind the data. Now reset the cursor with key
@_
to the position to be corrected (for new data input reset
cursor to line start). All data on the right side of the
cursor will now disappear. Thereafter the new data input
can follow. After completion store new data with key
@.
Choice of typed colour
In ON- and OFF-UNE operation it is possible to deter-
mine the foreground colour of the symbols with key
@.
With SHIFT
@
and
@
pressed simultaneously, the
background colour of the respective line is determined.

The colour commands are given by the figures 0 ... 7:

Foreground colour:
Press key

choose the desired colour by pressing
one of the figure keys 0 - 7 and then start writing. The
text will now appear in the pre-determined colour.
Background colour:

SHIFT and simultaneously key

and choose the desired colour with figure keys 0 - 7.
Thereafter choose the foreground colour.
00 not select the same colour for foreground and back-
ground.
Before you dial the Btx-service, you should practice a
few text lines in OFF-UNE operation.
TV-operation
After completion of the Btx-operation press key

for
TV-programme viewing.
With some TV-models, which can not be switched auto-
matically with key
©
to TV-operation it is necessary to
switch the programme on the television receiver.
During reception of TV programmes or at playback of
video recordings, moire interference may occur, if the TV
set is switched to AV-mode and with simultaneously
switched on Btx-decoder. In this case we recommend to
switch off the Btx-decoder with the mains switch.
Note: always pull mains cord before opening the
decoder.
