Manual switch-off
Press the main switch until the LED displays
turn off.
Please note:
• If the flash will not be used for an extended
amount of time:
- switch off the flash unit
- remove the power sources
(disposable/rechargeable batteries)
• On some cameras the flash will not be fired
when the prevailing light is sufficient for an
exposure. When the camera shutter release
is depressed, no flash exposure is triggered.
• In various types of cameras the triggering
control only works in the full program mode
or the automatic program "P" or must be
activated on the camera (see camera
manual).
Automatic switch-off
The flash unit is set at the factory so that it
switches to stand-by mode approximately 10
minutes after the following operating procedu-
res in order to save energy and protect the
power sources against unintentional dischar-
ging:
- after switching on the flash unit
- after a flash is fired
- after the shutter release is actuated
- after switching off the exposure measuring
system of the camera
The STATUS LED flashes red in stand-by
mode.
