Switching on and off
Switching on
Press the main switch until the LED light up
The flash unit always switches back on in the
mode that was used last. The corresponding
LED (TTL / SLAVE / LED) illuminates.
After the flash has reached its ready status,
i.e. the flash capacitor is charged, the
STATUS LED lights up green, thereby indi-
cating that the flash is ready.
This means that flash light can be used for the
next shot.
The flash unit will not be triggered if the
picture is taken before that time - which may
result in underexposure of the subject.
Please note:
• Flash readiness is transmitted to appropria-
tely equipped cameras where it is also dis-
played.
• To test the function, a test flash can be trig-
gered by pressing the TTL button for
approximately three seconds.
