    ● The AV50 is a ultra compact 2-channel video mixer with webstreaming converter supporting high definition video streaming (1080p). ● Connect to your Mac or Windows computer to use the AV50 as a virtual webcam, allowing live streaming through most popular platforms.

    As noted above, Asystems have included a DC power adapter for powering the AV50. Connect the adapter’s BNC head to the DC IN connector and the AC end into a suitable power source. When the AV50 is powered up, the front panel LCD screen will turn on and light up (depending on your backlight settings).

In this example, two cameras are connected to the video inputs with the two loop through connectors being used as a source display for each. The program output is sent for broadcasting.   • Page 8 Computer (Virtual Webcam) The AV50 can act simply as a means to inject your broadcast into a live stream. In this example, the video mixer’s program output is connected directly to the AV50’s video input, then looped out for broadcast. The AV50’s only job in this example is to take the broadcast signal and stream it through the internet.

    ● Install the unit on a sufficiently strong, stable and level surface for use. ● Ensure a space of at least 100 mm (4 inches) around the unit. While the AV50 won’t run hot in general, keeping all sides of the unit free from obstructions is advisible.

    There are three main settings menus, accessed via the VIDEO, AUDIO and MENU buttons on the front of the AV50. Settings can be viewed/adjusted on the LCD screen. Rotate the Set/Enter control to scroll through menus and push the control to confirm.
