1.0 Description
For CE compliance, you must install the ferrite bead on the data cable coming from the control panel. The bead
is positioned inside of the plastic keypad case (Figure 1).

Installation Procedure

1. Run the 4-wire cable to the keypad mounting location as usual.
2. Mount the keypad base plate to the wall, with the cable protruding through the base plate hole labeled
WIRE ENTRY.
3. Slide the ferrite bead over the cable.
4. Install the wires onto the keypad.
5. Slide the ferrite bead as close to the keypad wiring terminal block as possible (Figure 1).
6. Push any extra cable into the wall.
7. Snap the keypad onto the base plate.
While snapping the keypad onto the base plate, ensure that the ferrite bead remains in position close to the
keypad wiring terminal block.
