Watching video input
To view a signal from another device connected to the TV (such as a
VCR or DVD player), press INPUT on the remote control (or
TV/VIDEO on the TV) to change the video input (see illustrations
below).
Select VIDEO 1, VIDEO 2, VIDEO 3, or ColorStream, depending on
which input jack is used for connecting the specific device (see
"Connecting your TV" on page 5).

displays this screen. To select, press 0–5.
Selecting the video source labels
This feature allows you to rename the video sources for your TV from
the following preset list of labels:
–
: Uses the default label name
VCR
: Video cassette recorder
DVD
: DVD video player
DTV
: Digital TV set-top box
SAT
: Satellite box
CBL
: Cable box
To label the video sources:
1. Press MENU, and then press x or • until the CUSTOM menu
appears.
2. Press y or z to highlight VIDEO LABEL.

3. Press x or • to display the VIDEO LABEL menu.
4. Press y or z to highlight the video source you want to label.
5. Press x or • to select the appropriate label for that input source.

6. Finish labeling the other video sources as desired. To return to the
previous menu, press y or z to highlight CUSTOM MENU,
and then press x or •.
To exit the menu, press EXIT.
When you press INPUT (or TV/VIDEO), the on-screen display will
change according to the labels you assigned (see sample at right).

Note:
When ColorStream is selected, the video OUT
signal will not have color.
To receive a color video OUT signal, a video
or S-video IN jack must be used instead of
the ColorStream connection.
