Take the new touch screen assembly and remove any protective covering from the inside of the touch screen. Take
care not do get fingerprints or dirt onto the back of the touch screen. Once assembled it will be impossible to remove
any dirt or marks trapped between the display and the touch screen.
If either the display or the touch screen back need cleaning use a lint free cloth.
Assemble the two parts together, ensuring the touch screen lead is not trapped in any way. Fit the 4 self tapping screws
to complete the assembly of the Front surround.
Re-fitting the Front Surround assembly

Offer up the Front Surround assembly and identify the four cables shown in Fig 6. Reconnect the leads to the processor
board, ensuring that the connectors are inserted with the correct orientation.
Slide the Front Surround assembly back onto the recorder ensuring that the chassis plates are correctly located in the
moulding until the holes in the chassis plate align with the holes in the Front Surround assembly.
Fit the 4 self tapping screws to attach the Front Surround assembly.
