UH110 UHF MULTI-FREQUENCY PLUG-ON TRANSMITTER - EURO MODEL OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS and trouble-shooting guide LECTROSONICS, INC. www.lectrosonics.com Rio Rancho, NM - U.S.A. 0885...
UH110 combines over 80 years of engineering experience with the very latest components, in a design that addresses the most demanding professional applications. The design of the UH110 was the direct result of numerous conversations with users, staging and touring companies and dealers across the US. The specific concerns and needs brought up in these conversations led directly to the development of the operational features offered on the UH110.
UHF Multi-frequency Plug-on Transmitter GENERAL TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION The UH110 transmitters are comprised of a number of functional PRE-EMPHASIS/DE-EMPHASIS subsystems as shown in the block diagram below. The signal to noise ratio of the 110 system is improved by using pre-emphasis (HF boost) in the transmitter and de-emphasis (HF GENERAL roll off) in the receiver.
CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS The UH110 may be used with a wide variety of microphones. LEVEL LED The 3-pin XLR connector on the UH110 allows the transmitter to LIMIT LED be used with any dynamic microphone, as well as many two wire positive bias lavalier systems (such as those systems supplied by Lectrosonics).
UHF Multi-frequency Plug-on Transmitter OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1) Insert the UH110 into the selected microphone. Listen for the The first LED turns on 20dB below full deviation. The “0” LED “click” that indicates the UH110 has locked on to the microphone.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT The UH110 transmitter is powered by a standard alkaline 9 Volt Swing the door open and take note of the polarity marked inside battery. It is important that you use ONLY ALKALINE OR showing the location of the positive (+) and negative (-) termi- LITHIUM batteries for longest life.
