Assembly
WARNING: Make sure that the mixer is switched off and
unplugged.
1
Choose beaters or dough hooks.
Use beaters for mixing, beating, whipping and creaming liquids
and mixtures.
Use dough hooks for kneading dough.
2
Insert the stem of the beater or dough hook into one of the
sockets in the body.
The dough hook with the groove should go into the hole with the
sleeve on the mixer A.
3
Push and turn the beater or dough hook until it locks into place.
4
Repeat for the other beater or hook.
Using your Hand Mixer
1
Switch on by sliding the speed slider to one of the positions 1
(lowest speed) to 5 (highest speed).
It is recommended to start at a low speed, then change to a
higher speed as required.
Only use the turbo setting for short bursts of mixing.
Use turbo on speed 5.
Pressing the turbo on speed 1-4 will give a slight increase in
speed if required.
2
Switch off by returning the slider to 0.
3
To eject the beaters and dough hooks place the mixer on its base
and press the top half of the release button on the front of the
mixer with both hands B.
4
Gently remove the beater or dough hooks.
IMPORTANT: Do not operate the mixer continuously for more
than 6 minutes (with beaters) or 1 minute (with dough hooks).
After using for these lengths of time, let it cool down for 10
minutes before using again.
When working with liquids, use a low speed in order to avoid
splashing onto the mixer and firmly hold the liquid container.
TOPTIPS
When making dough, first mix the dry ingredients including oils,
fats or butter with beater for approx 30 seconds on speed 5 until
they form breadcrumbs. Change to dough hooks and gradually
add the wet ingredients using speed 5. Change to speed 2 to
knead the dough for approx. 1 minute.
