Setting the time and date (if required) - only for weather-compensated
control units
The time and date need to be reset during commis-
sioning or after a prolonged time out of use.

Note on automatic testing of the flue gas temperature sensor

Weather-compensated control unit
As soon as the time and date have been set, the con-
trol unit automatically checks the function of the flue
gas temperature sensor.
The display shows: "Flue gas temp sensor test" and
"Active".
Note
If the flue gas temperature sensor is incorrectly posi-
tioned, commissioning will be cancelled and fault mes-
sage A3 will be shown (see page 88).

Venting the heating system

1. Close the gas shut-off valve and switch the control
unit ON.
2. Activate venting program (see following steps).

4. Set current time and date.
Constant temperature control unit
Immediately after being switched on, the control unit au-
tomatically checks the function of the flue gas tempera-
ture sensor.
The display shows: "A".
Note
If the flue gas temperature sensor is incorrectly posi-
tioned, commissioning will be cancelled and fault mes-
sage A3 will be shown (see page 88).
3. Check the system pressure.
