Installation & Operating Instructions

Introduction

These instructions provide installation and operating procedures for Rowe's Jukebox
Wireless Paging Kit. This paging kit enables a jukebox to be used as a public-address
system for making announcements via a microphone located up to 150 feet away. The kit
can be added to any Rowe jukebox equipped with Rowe's standard 5 pin Microphone
Input connector.

1. Turn power to the jukebox OFF.
2. Using the instructions supplied with the wireless microphone, install the battery in the
microphone. Turn the receiver on (make sure the frequency of the microphone and
receiver match.
3. Open the jukebox's front door and locate its MICROPHONE INPUT connector and MUSIC
LEVEL DURING PAGING volume control. The latter may be found on the service mode
screen. See jukebox manual for info.
4. Plug the 5 pin connector attached to the receiver into the MICROPHONE INPUT connector.
5. Turn power to the jukebox ON
6. Gradually turn the jukebox microphone VOLUME control UP while talking into the
microphone with its switch set to ON. The receiver board led must be on. When the volume
has been turned up sufficiently you should begin to hear your voice through the jukebox's
speakers. Continue turning the control further clockwise until an appropriate microphone
volume for paging is obtained.
CAUTION: If you encounter feedback (loud, unpleasant squealing sound) while setting
paging volume, temporarily mute the microphone by setting it's switch off, and move it
further away from the jukebox's speakers before resuming volume adjustment.
