I can't get the ice maker door to open so I cannot access the ice bucket
To fix the ice maker door on a GE PVD Series refrigerator that won't open, follow these steps:
1. Open the left refrigerator door.
2. Pull down the latch to release the ice bin door.
3. If the ice bucket will not come out, check for any ice buildup or blockage that may be preventing movement.
4. If needed, rotate the ice bucket slightly to release it.
5. Make sure the latch locators are aligned at the bottom of the bin.
6. To replace, set the bucket on the guide brackets and push until it seats properly.
If the door still won’t open, ensure there’s no ice jam or obstruction in the chute or around the bin.

My center drawer of my refrigerator is freezing. I've adjusted the temperature. I've moved stuff around. The vents still freezes. It's a center drawer, not the plastic drawers in the refrigerator this is a separate compartment drawer and it's freezing. I don't know why?
The center drawer of the GE PVD Series refrigerator may be freezing because the drawer is convertible and designed to store items at different temperatures. If the drawer is set to a lower temperature than needed or not adjusted properly, it can cause freezing. Rechecking and adjusting the temperature setting of the convertible drawer to a higher level may help prevent freezing.
