Safety Instructions

1.
Important notice: Ensure that the Coffee Pot Warmer is switched off and that
the power supply is also switched off before connecting to the electric outlet.
Use only on AC 240V – 50 Hz only.
2.
To avoid risk of electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug or the appliance in
water or any other liquid. Never put the Coffee Pot Warmer in a dishwasher.
3.
Always switch off at the power outlet before removing the plug. Remove by
holding the plug - do not pull on the cord. When the appliance is not in use, or
prior to cleaning, always switch off the power and remove the plug.
4.
The Coffee Pot Warmer should not be used by children or infirm persons and
care should be taken when used near these persons. The Coffee Pot Warmer
should not be used outdoors. Young children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
5.
Do not use on the stove or let the cord come into contact with any hot surface.
6.
The Plates of the Coffee Pot Warmer get very hot, and must not be touched
directly to prevent the possibility of severe injury to persons or damage to the
unit. Exercise extreme caution when moving the unit and/or any pots being
mindful that it contains boiling water and the possibility of steam burns.
7.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions, is dropped or damaged in any way. Return the
appliance to Semak Australia or its Authorised Service Agent for repair. Do not
attempt to repair the machine.
8.
For Safety reasons and to avoid maintenance by unskilled persons, the
appliance should always be returned to Semak Australia for adjustment or
repair if required.
9.
Do not overfill Coffee Pots above specified level to avoid overflowing during
boiling. Ensure the pot tightly touches the base of the Warmer.
WARNING – This appliance should be used according to the instructions.
MISUSE of this appliance will cause HAZARD.
