    Setting The Clock From the main TIME screen, press and release the “Set Time” button. The screen should change to the “Set Time” screen and the hour should flash.   • Page 10 Triton Control Valve FUNCTION AND CYCLES OF OPERATION This glass-filled Noryl fully automatic control valve is designed as the primary control center to direct and regulate all cycles of a water softener or filter. When the Triton is set up as a softener, the Triton can be set to perform down flow or up flow regeneration.

    Starting Up The System FLUSHING, CONDITIONING AND SANITIZATION Figure 12a. Bypass Operation Did you connect the drain line securely to the STOP Triton’s drain elbow? Did you connect the brine line securely to the Triton’s brine elbow? Step 1. Make sure the system is in the “Bypass” position before turning the main water back on (see figure 12a above). Make sure the drain line is connected securely to the control valve and is properly located over a drain.

  • Page 14 Setting Up The Triton Valve SETTING HARDNESS, REGENERATION DAY AND REGENERATION TIME The Triton control valve on your Reionator Pro Ultra comes pre-set from the factory to perform as a typical softener ™ valve. However, there are certain settings that are specific to the customer’s water situation that cannot be set at the factory.
  • Page 15 IMPORTANT: This screen is used to set the day override to force regeneration on the specified number of days since last regeneration regardless of water usage. Changing this setting is usually not necessary. Step 2. From the “Set HARDNESS” screen, press the NEXT button. You should now see the “Set REGEN DAY” screen (shown above).
