15 Old (yesterday's) bread has less moisture, so
makes crisper toast.
16 Old bread, thin slices, and sweet bread
products (tea cakes, fruit loaf, etc.) brown
faster – use a lower setting.
C CARE AND MAINTENANCE
17 Unplug the toaster and let it cool.
18 Wipe outer surfaces with a damp cloth.
19 Don't let anything enter the slots.
20 Slide the crumb tray out, empty it, wipe it
with a damp cloth, dry it, then replace it.
