Using the tuner

1.
Press the TUNER ON button.
"
" will appear at the top of
the display.
2.
Connect a guitar or a bass to the INPUT
jack. When using the internal mic, press
the DIST/MIC button to select the MIC.
3.
Play a single note on your instrument.
The closest note to the input sound will
appear in the center of the display. Tune
your instrument to the correct pitch, so that
the desired note name appears.
If you're using the internal mic, place your
instrument as close as possible to the mic
so that extraneous sound is not picked up
while tuning. In addition, tuning is easier
when the drum machine is not playing .

4.
While playing a single note on your
instrument, tune your instrument so
that the tip of the meter indicates 440 of
the center and the center indicator of the
tuning guide is lit up in green. (When the
reference tone A = 440Hz)
The left tuning guide indicator will light up
in red if the pitch of your instrument is flat,
and the right indicator in red if the pitch is
sharp. The value (436 to 444) at the top of
the meter indicates the reference pitch. For
example, when tuning each string with A
= 436Hz, adjust each string so that the tip
of the meter indicates 436.
Note: The tuning guide is dedicated for
A = 440Hz. Ignore the tuning guide when
tuning with the reference pitch other than
A = 440Hz.
