Installation

Disconnect supply voltage!
Preparation for Type 1080 UF
The remote sensor should be inserted in an empty tube and
installed in the floor under the heating mat in order to sense
the floor temperature.
Installation
Both thermostats, 1080 U and 1080 UF, are installed in
standard FM boxes (in accordance with DIN 49073, Part 1).
If additional intermediate terminals are to be provided, we
recommend using a deeper switch box (60 mm).
• Refer to Fig. 1 and 2 when connecting
• Fit both slide-switch buttons (which are enclosed with
the centre panel) onto the appurtenant slide switches of
the FM insert.
• Then place the centre panel on the FM insert and screw
tightly in place.
• Finally, fit the adjusting disc onto the device by position-
ing it in the slot provided.
