    People may not loiter on the lifting platform at any time. 2. Important information for your safety Prior to commissioning the “JMP Lux 300 EH” lifting platform, please read through this operation manual carefully and follow the instructions that it contains. If you have any questions, please contact Matthies Workshop Service.

    5. Scope of use The following uses are permitted: The lifting platform may only be used to lift motorcycles, scooters and other cycles up 5.1. to a weight of 300 kg. In these instances, the lifting platform may only be used in dry interior 5.2.

    6.1. qualified persons. The “JMP Lux 300 EH” lifting platform may only be installed and operated in dry interiors. A flat surface of 6.2. at least 250 x 200 cm is required for installation. In order to guarantee a secure footing for the lifting platform and the mechanic working on it, the floor should be even.

    Maintenance and safety Regular maintenance of the lifting platform is necessary for safe operation. Please perform a full inspection of the lifting platform at least every 24 months. Daily inspection 8.1.  Regularly check the smooth and correct function of the safety catch: The safety catch must lock automatically and smoothly during the raising of the lifting platform.

    9. Fault diagnosis The lifting platform cannot be lifted any more! Has the additional weight of 300 kg been exceeded? Has the lifting platform been correctly connected? Is there a supply voltage? Is it possible that the fuse has blown? Has the circuit breaker of the lifting platform blown? Make sure that the lifting platform is separated from the voltage network;...

    10. Spare parts Maintenance and repairs to the “JMP Lux 300 EH” lifting platform may only be performed by qualified technicians. When replacing parts, it is necessary to ensure that the only spare parts used are ones which fully match the original components in terms of quality and design. If necessary, please contact the Matthies Workshop Service or your sales partner to discuss the further steps to be taken.
