Leviton GreenMAX RELAY-1TB Installation Manual

WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS:

OR FUSE AND TEST THAT THE POWER IS OFF BEFORE WIRING!
• To be installed and/or used in accordance with electrical codes and regulations.
To Install
WARNING:
1. TO AVOID FIRE, SHOCK, OR DEATH: When installation includes any of the Metering Relays listed below, the neutral wire from the Relay Insert Panel must be
connected to the circuit neutral. DO NOT energize any load circuits without the neutral jumper installed correctly.
2. Locate an empty location in the relay cabinet to install the relay. NOTE: Remove the cabinet door and covers as needed to provide access to the location in the Relay Insert Panel.
3. Remove the Blank Filler Module if previously installed. Depress the locking tab of the Relay Insert Panel while sliding the relay module horizontally away from the center connector strip.
4. Orient the relay alignment tabs and the mounting clips with the slots in the Relay Insert Panel.
5. Press relay against the Relay Insert Panel and slide the relay horizontally toward the center to engage the connectors.
WIRING:
1. Follow the wiring diagram on each relay. NOTE: Line and load terminals are in pairs on the top and bottom of a horizontally mounted relay. The LINE conductors should be connected
to the lower tier of terminals and the LOAD on the upper tier.
2. Replace all covers before restoring power.
NOTE: To remove relay, TURN OFF POWER and depress the locking tab of the Relay Insert Panel while sliding the relay module horizontally away from the center connector strip.

particular purpose, but if any implied warranty is required by the applicable jurisdiction, the duration of any such implied warranty, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, is limited to ten years. Leviton is not liable for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential
damages, including without limitation, damage to, or loss of use of, any equipment, lost sales or profits or delay or failure to perform this warranty obligation. The remedies provided herein are the exclusive remedies under this warranty, whether based on contract, tort or otherwise.
