CARE AND CLEANING
Dismantling and washing the jug
The jug can be dismantled and washed to
clean it thoroughly.
CAUTION: The blade is sharp. Take care
when handling the blade assembly.
•
Hold the jug firmly by the handle and
twist the jug base in the direction
shown.
The jug base will unscrew.
•
Remove the jug base.
•
The blade assembly and sealing ring
can now be lifted out of the jug base.
•
Hand-wash
the
jug
components
in a mild detergent solution. Dry
thoroughly.
Reassembling the jug
•
Invert the jug and lay the rubber seal
on the opening.
•
Fit the blade assembly through the
seal.
CAUTION: The rubber seal must fit
between the blade assembly and
the jug. Ensure that the seal is not in
contact with the blade.
•
Tighten the jug base ring to secure
the blade assembly to the jug.
CAUTION: Do not over-tighten the ring
as the glass jug may be damaged.
