The Verona Burner System is designed, and intended, for
installation in an existing approved, fully vented, wood- burning
fireplace, which includes gas hook-up. Gas Control Valve units
may be fueled by, either Natural Gas or Liquid Propane. Liquid
Propane must be orderd as such, DO NOT Connect the Unit with
any fuel other than is intended !
DO NOT INSTALL IN A WOOD BURNING STOVE
NEVER OPERATE WITH CLOSED GLASS DOORS !
GENERAL INFORMATION
These instructions are intended as a general guide and do not
supersede national or local codes in any way. Authorities
having jurisdiction should be consulted before installation.
Installation and provision for combustion and ventilation air
must conform to the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI
Z223.1/NFPA 54, or CAN/CGA-B149.1, Natural Gas
Installation Code, or CAN/CGA-B149.2, Propane Installation
Code.

This appliance must be installed only in a solid-fuel burning
fireplace with a working flue and constructed of non-
combustible materials. This unit is NOT for use with solid fuel.
Solid fuels shall NOT be burned in a fireplace where a
decorative appliance is installed.

    Apply Teflon tape or pipe dope to the steel fittings before making any connection. NOTE: All gas connections ( except for brass to brass ) require Teflon tape or pipe dope. The Verona has 2 acccess openings and one air intake. Under NO circumstances, can either the Valve access or the air intake in rear of Unit be Blocked.
