12. Care and cleaning

• There are no serviceable parts in the garden pump, so never open or disassemble it. Maintenance or repair and
the associated opening of the garden pump may only be carried out by a specialist or a specialist repair centre.
• Before cleaning, switch off the garden pump and disconnect it from the mains voltage. Unplug the mains plug from
the mains socket.
• To clean the outside of the garden pump, clean, soft cloth is sufficient.
• The inside of the garden pump can be rinsed with clear water. Remove the hoses and cover screws first.
• Dry the garden pump and mains cable before storing.
• Turn the plastic covers into the suction and drain openings.
Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions for cleaning as these may
damage the casing or cause the product to malfunction.

13. Disposal

Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste. At the end of
its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to environmental protection.
