Rack Layout Considerations
Examine the power distribution units (PDUs) and cables present in the rack and ensure
that
‣
they do not interfere with the installation of the RTX Blade Server, and
‣
they do not obstruct airflow to and around the server.
If needed, use a cable management harness to provide for airflow to the back of the
system.
Examples of poor rack installations
The following two images show examples of a server that blocks the ports of the PDU
and an example of PDU cables that interfere with the serviceability of the RTX Blade
Server
Examples of ideal rack installations
The following two images show examples of PDUs and cables that do not interfere with
the serviceability of the RTX Blade Server.
