Seat heating

What you should be mindful of
WARNING
Risk of burns!
Do not switch on the seat heater for persons with
limited perception of pain or temperature.
NOTICE
Risk of seat damage!
Do not kneel on the seats or otherwise puncture
them.
Do not turn on the heater in the following situa-
tions.
The seat is not occupied.
There are objects on the seat, such as a child
seat.
There are additional seat covers or protective
covers on the seat.
Conditions
✓ The engine is running.
Operation
Press the
or
key to switch on the seat heating.
The seat heating is switched on with maximum heat-
ing output. By repeatedly pressing the button, the
heating output is reduced until it is switched off.
The heat output is determined by the number of illu-
minated indicator lights that are shown in the key or
in the Climatronic display.
If the seat heating is switched on with maximum
heat output, the heating power is automatically low-
ered after 10 minutes.
Fold down the armrest.
The folded-down arm-
rest can be used as a
storage table.

Power assisted steering faulty
illuminates - total failure of the power assisted
steering, failure of steering assistance
Turn off the ignition, start the engine and drive a
few meters.
If the
indicator light does not go out, stop driv-
ing. Seek the help of a specialist garage.

downwards.
Adjust the steering
