TestPad is connected to an AC adapter and the adaptor is plugged in. Always use the AC adaptor that shipped with your UIM. Using a different adaptor may damage the unit. Acterna also recommends using a battery charged to at least 50 percent capacity as a backup power supply. - Page 3 6 Respond to the prompts as directed. After all upgrade files are loaded, the TestPad automatically reboots, and the main screen appears. The application module software upgrade is loaded. - Page 4 The Number Remaining field indicates the remaining copies of the option which are available for installation. Each time you install an option, the TestPad decreases the number remaining by one. Select the option or options you want to install.
