Stopping the engine To stop the engine in an emergency, simply turn the OFF/RUN/Choke switch to OFF position— under normal conditions, use the following procedure. 1.Shut off all loads and unplug electrical loads from generator panel receptacles. 2.Let engine run at no-load for several minutes to stabilize internal temperatures of engine and generator.
MAINTENANCE The purpose of the maintenance and adjustment schedule is to keep the generator in the best operating condition. Inspect or service as scheduled in the table below. WARNING! Shut off the engine before performing any maintenance. If the engine must be run, make sure the area is well ventilated.
