- Page 4 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Mount the system’s stand in a shade-free area, while making sure the collector’s location is facing north, with up to a 20˚ deviation east to west. Place the geyser in its cradle on the stand. Place the collectors on the stand facing north at the stand’s angle - 15-35˚ to the horizontal plane.

Best performance achieved with well insulated pipes. The hot line from the collectors must be insulated to reduce heat losses. Water may drip from the discharge pipe of the expansion control valve, and this pipe must be left open to the atmosphere. The discharge pipes connected to the expansion control valve and the safety valve (TP valve) are to be of metal and installed in a continuously downward direction with the outlets being left open in a frost-free atmosphere. -
