RATING PLATES All RAIS/attika stoves come with rating plates indicating the di- stance from flammable objects to be maintained by the stove, efficiency, etc. The rating plate is loose and inside the stove at the time of delivery. We recommend mounting the rating plate in the corner on the back of the stove (see the drawing on the right). The serial number can be found on the back of the stove. INSTALLING A FLUE COLLAR IN THE TOP OUTLET INSTALLING A FLUE COLLAR IN THE TOP OUTLET The flue collar can be found in a bag inside the stove when the stove is delivered. 1. ALTERING THE CHIMNEY CONNECTION ALTERING THE CHIMNEY CONNECTION The stove is supplied ready for a top outlet at the time of deli- very, but this can be altered to a rear outlet as follows: 1. REMOVING THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER LINING – WITHOUT SIDE GLASS REMOVING THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER LINING Stove without side glass: The combustion chamber lining is removed as follows: 1. R emove the lock (1) at both sides. This is pushed upwards until it comes free of the hole. It can then be removed from the stove. 2. A fter that, the smoke converter plate (2) can be removed by lifting it up. 3. REMOVING THE SMOKE CHICANE REMOVING THE SMOKE CHICANE First, remove the smoke converter plate (see the section on removing the combustion chamber lining on pages 19 and 20). The smoke chicane (1) is removed by lifting it up so that it comes free of the groove (2). It can then be pulled out of the stove. -

The system’s air intake can be concealed by installing it in the floor, or in the wall behind the stove.
