ATTENTION!
The battery must be charged for 5 hours be-
fore using the appliance for the first time.
The battery should be completely discharged
before the initial charging.
Check this by switching on the appliance (see
"Operation" in the table of contents). Leave
the appliance switched on until the motor runs
only very slowly.
ATTENTION!
The battery will be charged only if the vacuum
cleaner is switched off.
NOTICE!
New batteries or batteries that have not been
discharged for an extended period possibly
will not be fully charged. The battery will be
fully charged after several charging and dis-
charging cycles.
1. When the appliance is being charged, the
power indicator lamp will turn red.
2. When the appliance is fully charged, the
indicator lamp will return green, and will be
off automatically after 10 minutes, which
means the appliances is fully charged and
ready for use.
3. When the indicator lamp turns green and
blinks, which means the electric capacity of
the power supply is lower than 50 %, and
the appliance should be charged again.
4. While charging, the appliance and the
charger become somewhat warm. This is
normal and is not an indication of a problem.
5. Please remove the power supply unit from
the socket and the charging base when the
appliance does not need to be charged;
please store the power supply unit at a
proper place.
