SAFETY GUIDELINES
WARNING: Disconnect the pump and all submerged electrical
components before performing any operation in the water. If the
plug or socket is wet, disconnect the breaker before removing the
power cord.
WARNING: Connect the pump to a circuit that is protected by a
ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI).
WARNING: To guard against injury, observe basic safety precau-
tions, including the following:
To reduce the risk of electric shock, use only in portable, self-
contained fountains no larger than 5 feet in any dimension.
Do not use the pump for anything other than its intended use.
Do not use an extension cord.
To prevent water from dripping onto the power outlet or plug, use
a drip loop in the power cord. The drip loop is the part of the cord
below the outlet that prevents water from traveling along the cord
and contacting the outlet.
Ensure that the power cord is in good condition with no nicks,
cuts, or other damage. The power cord can not be repaired or
replaced. If it becomes damaged, you must replace the entire
pump assembly.
Do not install or store the pump where it will be exposed to tempera-
tures below 32 degrees F (0 degrees C).
Do not use in water hotter than 95 degrees F (35 degrees C).
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not lift or lower the pump by its power cord.

WITH
CAUTION: Ensure that the voltage noted on the pump matches that
of the power source.
CAUTION: Do not submerge the pump without the inlet fitting cap
in place or the air tube attached.
FOR SubmERGED uSE (FIGuRE 1):
1. Remove the cap from the inlet fitting (Figure 4).
2. Attach one end of the air tube to the fitting.
CAUTION: Attach the tube securely; the pump will be damaged
if the tube comes loose during installation or while submerged.
3. Place the other end of the air tube where it will not become
clogged by debris or submerged during a weather event.
4. Place the pump into the water.
CAUTION: Ensure that all components are secure before
starting the pump. For extra stability and to prevent the pump
from floating, attach the power cord to the air tube using tie-
THESE
wraps and fill the two side fins with pebbles, stones, or gravel.
5. Create a drip loop in the power cord (Figure 3), then connect
the cord to an outlet.
6. Verify that the pump begins to produce bubbles.
NOTE: It may take up to 5 minutes for the bubbles to appear.
7. To adjust the bubble flow:
a. Disconnect the pump and all submerged electrical
components from power.
b . Rotate the flow regulator clockwise or counter-clockwise.
c. Connect the pump and all submerged electrical components
to power.
FOR NON-SubmERGED uSE (FIGuRE 2):
1. Remove the cap from the inlet fitting (Figure 4).
2. Remove the flow regulator and replace it with the outlet adapter,
ensuring that the foam pad remains in place.
3. Connect the air tube to one of the outlet adapter fittings. Place
the cap onto the other fitting (or connect tubing to the fitting to
supply a second air feature.)
