7. STArT-Up

7.1 Normal start-up
The normal start-up and the operating of the stone cutting machine do not in any way differ to the
instructions mentioned in the IM "Operation and use".
7.2 procedure by faults or disturbances
! ! ! Irrespective of the now following instructions the safety regulations for the use of this machi-
ne are in accordance of the local safety regulations.
7.2.1 Safety shut-down
! ! ! We urgently recommend using the main power switch during repairs or troubleshooting and
pull the plug out of the main power supply.
Further more we refer to the relevant safety precaution regulations of the Accident Prevention & Insu-
rance Association. .
7.2.2 Trouble shooting
Signs
Diamond-Cutting disc wobbles
Diamond-Cutting disc has verti-
cal bounce
No cooling water is coming to
the Diamond-Cutting disc
Motor does not turn
Motor hums
Cause
• Hexagon nut not tightened
up properly
• Flange surfaces soiled
• Bore hole of the cutting disc
to large
• Not enough water
• Pump is blocked
• Various
• No or wrong voltage
• Condenser or phases are
defect

• Tighten up hexagon nut
• Clean flange surfaces
• Exchange cutting disc
• The water level is to low,
please fill up
• Take of the filter of the pump
and clean the body of the
pump
• Check the hose for breaks
and bends
• Nozzle blocked, please clean
• Pump and cable need to be
checked by an electrician
• Main power supply and mo-
tor need to be checked by an
electrician
• Inform service
