SING ALONG WITH A TAPE
Following instructions for PLAYBACK.
a)
Turn on POWER (1).
b)
Switch FUNCTION SELECT to TAPE, then load
cassette(s) into Tape Deck 1, Tape Deck 2 or
both Decks (5).
c) Depress PLAY button(s)(9) of Deck 1 or Deck 2.
d) Adjust MASTER VOLUME (6), and BALANCE (8)
controls to your pleasure.
e) Adjust PITCH (Tape Speed) (7) control if desired.
This will alter pitch and tempo. If music is too high
for your voice, slow down the tape and it will
lower the pitch. If too low, speed up tape and
pitch will raise. When the pitch knob is centered
the button a second time, you will feel a detent
click.
f ) To stop tape on either Deck, press STOP/EJECT
button (10) on that Deck once. (Pressing will eject
the tape.) When tape reaches its end, that deck
will automatically stop and its PLAY button will be
released.
2. Follow instructions for MICROPHONES/ECHO.
When either or both microphones are plugged
into the Microphone Jacks (3), their output is mixed
with the playback from cassette tapes. Adjust
MIC VOLUME (2) for the best balance between
playback and microphone levels.
Adjust ECHO (4) to add depth and richness to
vocals.
3. Adjust MASTER VOLUME, ECHO AND PITCH Con-
trols to your satisfication. Your voice will be com-
bined with the music and will be heard through
the loudspeakers.
4. With Singing Machine or similar multiplex cas-
settes, you can sing duets along with the re-
corded artist and background music. You can also
eliminate the vocal track and do a solo perfor-
mance with the background music by turning the
BALANCE Control.

RECORDING TO TAPE

1. Load a blank casssette in Tape Deck 1.
2. Load a Singing Machine or any other prerecorder
tape into Tape Deck 2.
3. Start Tape Deck 2 by pressing the PLAY button.
4. Press both RECORD and PLAY buttons of Tape
Deck 1 at the same time. The combined output of
your voice and the playback of Tape Deck 2 will
be recorded on the blank tape in Tape Deck 1.

RECORDING - CD or CDG Disc(s)
(Audio only, Video is not possible)
1. Load a blank cassette in Tape Deck 1.
2. Load a Singing Machine or any other prerecorded

4. Press the PLAY button to start playback on the
