OPERATION
Turn the thermostat clockwise until it clicks
The fan has three settings: "Fan" "●" and "●●".
The "Fan" setting has no heating and just provides ventilation.
Turn the dial to "●" for low power heating.
Turn the dial to "●●" for full power heating.
Turn the right hand dial to "O" to switch the heater off again.
NOTE: The heater may emit a small amount of smoke and odour when used for the
first time. This is normal and caused by the lubricant on the heating element during
the production process. It is non-toxic. If the smoke and odour are excessive, use the
heater in a ventilated area. The smoke and odour should disappear after a few minutes
of use.
THERMOSTAT CONTROL
If the heater switches off before the room reaches the desired warmth, turn the
thermostat clockwise to increase the temperature setting.
The heater will switch on and off automatically to maintain this temperature.
WARNING: Do not leave the appliance switched on and unattended at any time.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The heater is fitted with a safety device which will switch off the heater in the event
of accidental overheating (e.g. obstruction of intakes and outlets grilles etc.). To
reset the appliance, disconnect the heater from the main power and allow it to cool
down, and then remove any obstructions.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always remove the plug from the socket-outlet and allow the heater to cool down
before cleaning it.
Clean the air inlet/outlet grilles frequently, using a soft, dry cloth, to prevent dust
building up.
Do not use any chemicals, abrasives or solvents that may damage the heater.
Do not allow water to enter the appliance.
To store the heater, place it in a clean, dry environment, ensuring it is protected
from dust.
