C H A R A C T E R I S T I C S
1 . S top wat ch : Measures up to 9 hours, 59 minutes,
59 seconds and 99 with 1 ⁄ 100 second readout.
• L a p t i m e m e a s u r e m e n t : U p t o 9 l a p t i m e s
can be measured. The lap time difference and
the fastest lap time are calculated and displayed
during the measurement.
2 . Time/calendar display: Hour, minutes, seconds,
month, date and day of the week.
• A u t o m a t i c c a l e n d a r a d j u s t m e n t : Calendar
adjusts automatically for odd and even months
i n c l u d i n g F e b r u a r y o f l e a p y e a r s , b u t n o t f o r
February of common years.
• T i m e i n d i c a t i o n : C h a n g e o v e r b e t w e e n 1 2 -
and 24-hour indications is possible.
3 . D a i l y a l a r m : The alarm can be set to ring on a
24-hour basis.
4 . D u a l t i m e : Time of a different time zone can be
set and displayed.
5 . S t r o k e f u n c t i o n : The watch can be set to beep
a t a s e l e c t e d r a t e t o s e r v e a s a p a c e m a k e r i n
jogging, etc.
6 . C o u n t d o w n t i m e r : U p t o 9 h o u r s 5 9 m i n u t e s
and 59 seconds can be set in seconds.

* Even if the stopwatch display is changed to another
while the measurement is in progress, it continues
counting properly. After the stopwatch is used,
however, be sure to reset it as the battery energy
is consumed enormously to shorten the battery
life .

• " L a p t i m e " r e f e r s t o a n e l a p s e d t i m e r e q u i r e d t o
cover a given section of the whole distance.
1 . At the start of the activity, depress button "D" to
start the stopwatch.
2 . At the end of the first lap, depress button "A".
The first lap time and lap number are displayed,
t h o u g h t h e s e c o n d l a p t i m e i s b e i n g m e a s u r e d
int er nally .
3 . Depress button "A" to release the lap time before
the end of the second lap. The first lap time and
l a p n u m b e r d i s a p p e a r , a n d t h e m e a s u r e m e n t i n
progress and "0" are displayed in place of the lap
time and lap number, respectively.
4. At the end of the second lap, depress button "A".
T h e s e c o n d l a p t i m e a n d l a p n u m b e r a r e d i s -
p l a y e d , t h o u g h t h e t h i r d l a p t i m e i s b e i n g m e a -
sured internally.
5. Measurement and release of the lap time can be
repeated by depressing button "A".
6. At the end of the activity, follow either of the two
methods below.
a . T o d i s p l a y t h e f i n a l l a p t i m e , d e p r e s s b u t t o n
"A". Then, depress button "A" to release the
l a p t i m e , a n d d e p r e s s b u t t o n " D " t o s t o p t h e
m ea su re me nt.
* T h e t i m e d i s p l a y e d w h e n b u t t o n " D " i s d e -
pressed is not the total elapsed time of the
ac tiv ity , t hat is, the tim e t hat ela pse d fro m
the start until the end of the activity but the
t i m e t h a t e l a p s e d f r o m t h e s t a r t u n t i l t h e
stop of the measurement.
b. To display the total elapsed time of the activi-
t y , d e p r e s s b u t t o n " D " t o s t o p t h e m e a s u r e -
m e n t .
7. Depress button "B" to reset the stopwatch.
N o t e s :
1. When a lap time measured is the fastest among
the lap times previously measured, a short beep
rings to signal that the memory has been updated
with the new fastest lap time.
2. The lap number counts up to "9". After "9", the
number returns to "1".

• While a lap time is being displayed, depress but-
ton "B". With each depression of the button, the
difference between the displayed lap time and the
p r e v i o u s l a p t i m e i s d i s p l a y e d i n t h e f o l l o w i n g
